Social Housing IVVSA Sant Joan

The Project response combines the requirements of the surroundings and the geometry of the plot; proposing the creation of an interior tree-covered space controlled by the building itself, this space will become the main sight for some flats.

- The front building block is raised above the floor, forming a porch that opens a connection between interior space and the street. The type of housing chosen for this block consists of flats with opposed orientation and cross ventilation, served two to two per staircase and lift.

- The type housing chosen for the back building block consists of flats served by a corridor; apartments open onto it gaining views of the communal space, as well as closing the perspective from the existing block at the back. The building also includes ground floor apartments, which, using different architectural solutions, ensure privacy from the communal space.
