Offices and Brigade’s Museum

In a very open urban environment, a very define building is set with part of the outer space delimited in order to provide a common entry location to all groups of blocks proposed in different phases.

The blocks are arranged in such a way as to look for consistency, fitting into the plot with a horizontal part, dedicated to the museum, and a multi-storey office building. Giving in this way an urban presence to the entire complex, as well as the representative image that corresponds to a public building.

Within the actual fire station plot, the building opens into a courtyard for sporting activities or to use as complementary outer space for the museum, this courtyard gives answer to the open space between the two existing buildings.

The roof garden achieves a double purpose: to facilitate the building’s own sustainability, thanks to the insulation that the roof provides, and to allow a space for recreation and sporting activities.

Throughout the building, energy efficiency and environmental parameters are especially cared for.
