Between party walls……
Narrow streets……
Tall buildings……

The visual void and transparency become a necessity.
…And from the empty space, the continuity, the extended pedestrian route, an access at the end of a dead end road, a courtyard, a ground floor visually read as one large space.

A widening on the sidewalk demands the attention of the passer by that painfully circulates on the enabled 31, 50 in (80 cm). When heading into the welcoming space, he joyfully discovers the light at the end; it is the illuminated courtyard which connects, following the transparency continuity, with the new pedestrian road, now open to the other side.

The result is a single volume, abstract, wrapped in an aluminium skin, suspended from party walls to allow an open space on the ground floor. The lobby, exhibition hall and courtyard, link the pedestrian road to Ricardo Castro Street.
